When A Fellowship Pulls Together
Cornerstone is a Methodist Church in Houston, Texas. Cornerstone is having a special offering on March 4th to raise money for Shadrack's surgery. The Missions Ministry at Cornerstone has organized this effort.

Church members have made posters, given presentations to the congregation and youth group, written articles for the church newsletter, and have also planned activities to get the children involved.

You might like to organize a special offering at your church; if so, and you'd like some ideas to get started, please email info@helpshadrack.org

Using Our Gifts and Talents
Connie works in advertising in Columbus, Ohio. She heard about the Tenderfeet Children's Center and Shadrack from a family member. She was eager to pitch in with a "can-do" attitude.

Connie has years of experience in publishing and writing copy. She's written for everything from magazine ads to children's menus, a background which allows Connie to make an important contribution. Connie uses this background to help with web pages, posters, and other materials to get the word out about Shadrack.

Like Connie, you may want to use your unique gifts and talents to make a difference for Shadrack and the Tenderfeet Children's Center. If you are interested, please email us at info@helpshadrack.org

Getting Involved During the Season of Giving
Brittany is a student at the University of Southern Mississippi. She heard about Shadrack through the Tenderfeet website.

She says it became clear that she was going to get involved when she was studying for final exams and couldn't stop thinking about Shadrack and his situation.

Her way to help was to ask her family and friends not to give her presents for her birthday and Christmas. Instead, she asked that they give money that she will send for Shadrack's medical care.

In this way, she's been able to raise an amount that will really make a difference. By helping to save a life, Brittany is showing the giving spirit Christmas is all about.
